The logistics of large scale furniture deliveries are challenging. We chose to make sure we get it right in our own back yard before expanding. Additionally, it's more sustainable to deliver full containers to destination cities with nearby delivieries than truck goods across the United States. We work closely with our factories and partners so that production of our pieces exceeds expectations. Our HQ went through multiple prototypes, testing and refinement phases to ensure every detail was purposeful and elegant.
When your piece is completed, it goes through a rigorous quality inspection process to guarantee precise workmanship. No piece is shipped until it's perfect.
We start shipping accessories in January of 2023; the first HQ's will be ready in mid to late Febuary. Henceforth, accesssories will arrive within 1 - 2 weeks and HQ's in 8 - 12 weeks.
Variances in lead times depend on production and cannot be rush shipped. While we endeavor to accurately estimate delivery timelines, unexpected delays are often beyond our control. We will communicate any updates to you as soon as possible in the event of a delay.
We considered tight, urban spaces, tiny freight elevators and narrow staircases while designing HQ, its components and its packaging. Please confrim that the belowe size boxes will fit into your home. Failed delivery attempts, unless the fault of our third-party provider, are charged the full delivery fee.

We designed HQ with easy assembly in mind. HQ arrives in 7 pieces plus the necessary hardware — two large pieces for the cabinet, the two doors, work surface, support cross bar and monitor mount. We provide with each shipment a detailed set of instructions. You’ll be provided with an allen key and all necessary screws. If you choose to assemble yourself, two people are required. The footprint of HQ is dependent on how you position the doors but at a minimum we suggest 54” in width and 53” in depth for your work space (this includes your task chair.) The product when closed occupies 45”w x 31”d of floorspace and is 5’10” high.
We used two types of chairs when testing HQ.
Task Chair: 20"W x 20"D X 36.5H Most task chairs (think of a nice dining style chair on casters or a swivel base) will fit into the HQ
Standard Ergonomic Chair: 25"W x 24"D x 38"H Large ergonomic chairs will not fint inside of HQ.
Chair Arms: Must be under 29" High (or adjust to be under 29" high for storage) Chair Bases: Must be under 26" in diameter. Some times the chair casters can be rolled inward (instead of sticking outwards) to reduce the footprint.
In our first model we had a two part handle and this is what you see in the video. However, we replaced this with one visible circular handle to work better with uneven flooring.

The worksurface is engineered wood with scratch resistant laminate top and exposed engineered wood soft-sanded curved edge.
The attachment supports 75 - 100 mm VESA hole pattern (the industry standard for mountable monitors). The monitor needs to have a flat, or nearly flat, back. Any projections on the back of the monitor that extend more than 1.5” past the screw holes will hit the back support bar where the monitor mount attaches and you will be unable to mount the monitor.
An anti-tip kit is provided with each Demarc HQ for your safety. Please use the kit.

We work closely with our supply chain partners to ensure each production run falls within our approved variance range. Minor variances in size and shape may occur, especially in regards to natural materials. If you suspect a manufacturing defect, please CONTACT US. If you’d like to cancel your order, contact us within 48 hours of placing your order to request a cancellation. We’ll send a confirmation shortly thereafter.
After 48 hours, if your order hasn’t shipped yet, we’ll arrange a full refund minus a 3.5% administrative fee to help cover processing. If it has shipped, a return shipping fee will apply to ship the item back to us. For unopened boxes it may take up to 14 business days after receipt of returned product depending on your provider for your refund to be reflected on your balance.
